Pixels: Not surprisingly, the first set of devices getting Android Pie are Google’s Pixels. So if you own a Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, you can update to the latest Android version.
Essential: Almost immediately after Google’s announcement, Andy Rubin’s Essential too announced the rollout of Android Pie for its smartphone. The company put out a tweet reading, “We’re proud to bring Android 9 Pie to Essential Phone the same day it’s released! Check your phone now for the update. 🥧”
Android Pie Beta: The next obvious list of devices to get the latest update are the ones that were a part of the Android Pie beta program. These include select devices from companies like HMD Global, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Sony, Oppo, and Vivo. Google says these devices will get the update before December.
